Summer’s here, the sun is out (sometimes), and we’ve got a cracking new menu coming soon. Don’t worry – we’ll still be serving up the pizzas, burgers and bowls you’ve come to know and love, but we’ll be adding a few new dishes to the mix...
The biggest change is that we’re taking off the pulled pork (uproar!) and replacing it with low and slow pulled brisket (hurrah!). Other new burgers to look out for are the ‘All American dream’ and the ‘Chitty Chilli Bang Bang’. The bowls section will be getting an overhaul for the summer including a new chicken, chorizo and quinoa medley as well as a new ‘roasted and squashed’ bowl, with roast summer squash, hummus, and a feta and mint dressing. New pizzas include ‘Feelin’ sheepish’ (tomato, spiced lamb, aubergine, pickled red onions, pecorino) and ‘You butternut squash my he’art’ (ricotta, summer squash, artichokes, pecorino, basil, lemon oil).
And finally, after much demand, we’re happy to introduce THE MIGHTY VEGGIE to the brunch menu: dodo veggie sausages, roasted mushroom, roast tomato, baked beans, hash browns, fried eggs, and sourdough toast. Pair with a Bottomless Bloody Mary to combat even the worst hangover!
Speaking of change (and hangovers…), we’ve also got a fresh new cocktail list at the Rickety & the Rusty, with some splendid new concoctions for you to while away those summer evenings with. There’s something for all tastes, from the rugged 3B Old Fashioned (Kentucky bourbon, bitters, and homemade 3B ale syrup) to the refined Joan Collins, with house-infused pear and fig gin. Chin-chin!
